A.I.L. Valves are identified by a four digit figure number derived as follows:

How to order Valves

As a standard, A.I.L. Valves are in Carbon Steel to ASTM A216 Gr. WCB. For Valves in special shell material which can also be offered, suffix the following abbreviations to the four digit figure number.

ASTM A217 Gr. WC6   :   WC6

ASTM A217 Gr. WC9   :   WC9

ASTM A352 Gr. LCB/LCC   :   LCB/LCC

        Gear Operation   :   GO

Electrical Actuator   :   E

Example: - 113-8Gate Valve of ANSI Class 150 with Flanged Ends, RF, body & bonnet of Carbon Steel and API 600 Trim No.8

1.     GATE VALVES
        a. Seat ring in 2" is 13% Cr. Flared in the body.
        b. Alternate base material (at manufacturer's option) of wedge is ASTM A217 Gr. CA15
            for trim 1, 5, 8 and A351 Gr. CF8M for trim 12.
2.     GLOBE VALVE
        a. Seat ring base material for Trim 1, 5, 8 is ASTM A182 Cr F6. In Trim 12 it is ASTM A182
            Cr F316.
        b. Alternate base material (at manufacturer's option) for disc is ASTM A217 Gr. CA15 for
            trim 1, 5, 8 & ASTM A351 Gr. CF8M in trim 12.

STEM PACKING

The options of stem packings offered in AIL Cast Steel Valves are given below:
